20 January - Under the Kitchen Sink
Under the Kitchen Sink play a slick, sophisticated and refreshingly eclectic mix of jazz-infused originals, as well funky takes on classic Jazz and Blues standards. They also explore 'modern classics' (taking inspiration from contemporary jazz artists such as Bob Reynolds, Chris Potter, Danny Janklow and Max Ionata among others). Stylish, polished and highly entertaining. They filled the house last time they played at Ed's Jazz Club back in September - let's see them do it again!

Check out the backbone of Eat My Shorts - their amazing rhythm section. It's all in the engine room....
Wranglin is in reference to Jamaican guitarist Earnest Ranglin who played a kind of fusion of jazz and reggae with pianist Monty Alexander covering some albums of Bob Marley music. All with a jazz bent - check it out!
This special gig will be at Original Sin - downstairs from Fat Eddie's - for one night only. This is a great venue if you're feeling like a 2022 cocktail.

3 February - the HKH European Jazz Trio
HKH (Hoekstra Kime Hobson) was formed around 20 years ago when the three musicians discovered they had a similar passion for European Jazz. With Mark Hobson on saxophones, Wytze Hoekstra on piano and Michael Kime on bass they started to work on the neoclassical melodies and ambient textures that typify this style.
This concert will feature Wytze’s trio compositions and shed a new light on the unique creative vision of the HKH ensemble.

10 February - Friday Morning Coffee
Six-piece contemporary jazz combo Friday Morning Coffee are ready to bring their sound to Ed’s Jazz Club in February! Fresh off the release of their debut album Beans, they have a plentiful variety of hip originals to showcase, along with some staple tunes which helped inspire their style as a band. Having just finished high school, this will be their last gig for a while before splitting off to different cities for university - so come to groove with the lads on a divine Thursday evening! Beans. Bangers. Be there. February 10th.
